Five Whoopie Pies

Is there a treat with more renown in Maine than the whoopie pie? Two domed cakes with a sweet creamy filling between, these desserts have expanded into all sorts of flavors and varieties, but traditional chocolate with vanilla cream is the standard for a reason.
Fifth in the 12 Days of Christmas in Maine series, I always hear Miss Piggy from the Muppets singing along for this one.
